Name: Ryan Gilmer

Email: You can reach me at rygilmer@hotmail.com. I'll be happy to get something other than the daily word of the day.

AIM Name(s): My screen name is "atownjazzband"--but I am debating on getting a new one since I'm quitting jazz band. I will keep the people posted. Note: I am NOT atowncubsfan.

Age: 19

Birthday: 9/28/84

Height: Around 5' 11''--I know I'm taller than McGinnis.

Weight: 140

Boxers or Briefs: Right now, I've almost completed the transition from briefs to boxers. 6 out of 7 days a week I'm in boxers. The other day is reserved for briefs, if I'm wearing dress pants, etc, or of course, commando. What I stand in staunch opposition of is boxer briefs. Either go hard or go home people. If you're going to do something, do it right.

Favorite Color: This hasn't changed a whole lot since last year, it's still a beautiful shade of Cubbie blue, the color of the gods.

Are you Going to vote this fall: I'm planning on voting, but I still need to register as of right now. My family says I'm irresponsible

Car: I am currently carless. In high school I had this sweet 89 Buick Century that was appropriately named "Ladies Choice."

Favorite Bible Verse: These change regularly. Right now I'll give you these as my top 3, in reverse order: 3) "What a man desires is unfailing love." Proverbs 19:22a 2) "The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full." John 10:10 (campers I hope you remember that one) 1) "But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law." Galatians 5:22, 23
That's really just the tip of the iceberg, there are so many Scriptures that have given me hope and truth throughout my life. And like I said earlier, I have different favorites at different times, so next year when we do these bios again, they probably will all be different.

Whats in your CD player right now: Pinkerton, or a jazz mix from Marshall.

Favorite band: I would have to say my favorite band would be Weezer. In fact, I'm thinking about listening to the blue album while I get my wisdom teeth pulled. Also, as indicated by past Mansfield CD's, I enjoy the Wallflowers and Tom Petty.

Favorite Pop: Vanilla Coke, but these are a rarity&Dr. Pepper is good as well. The king and queen of pops if you will.

Favorite T-shirt: It was a Jackie Robinson T shirt that I got from a baseball tournament back in elementary school. It reminds me of the good old days. I don't wear it much now though because I got red paint on it down at camp. If I had a better Cubs T shirt, that would be it for sure

Favorite Article of Clothing: I really like a pair of jeans that I got from the Gap recently, but other than that, it's probably the rubberbands that I have on my wrists&its just the simple accessories that make the outfit.

Favorite Sports star: Of course you would think it would be a Cub. I'm really not much for individual players though&if I had to nail it down, it would be a tie between Mark Price (every little white kid had hope of making the NBA because of him) and Mark Grace (former first baseman for the Cubs). I feel like they are a lot like me in a lot of ways.

Favorite Josh Moment: Josh once parked his car in my driveway, proceeded to pop the hood, take of his shirt, and say hi to my bewildered family who had just come home. That and the Buckeye national title game, when we argued about whether the Ford truck was actually on the field, or whether it was superimposed.

Cologn/Deoderant: Old Spice. I'm usually a mountain man of some sort&.I'm not much for cologne&unless it's a date with a really hot girl.

Favorite Animal: I love my 3 dogs, Sammy, Maggie, and Jazz. Also I love zebras. So handsome.

What is Servant Leadership House: As long as I don't have to make a scrapbook, I don't really care. Basically it's the new Igloo.

I'll use this question to publicly state that I have no affiliation with John Titor, and I will sign the affidavit. But, do I think he is cool for having power over people I know? I guess.

Oreo Type: Whatever regular, normal, white. None of that orange Halloween or green mint stuff.

Is Ryan in a Vat of Curel a funny image: I think since everyone has used my Curel, that's at least an interesting point. That being said, it is a funny image.

Your thoughts of Bel Auburn: Bel Auburn is well intentioned, and I hear they are playing with some big names now. I just can't attach myself to them in any full way.

Most Money you've ever won in Poker: Right now I'm up about 250 bucks on Party Poker. I've been called a shark. I really feel like at this point in my life, my poker game is good enough to win more than I lose. I'm getting better, and maybe someday I'll be on espn.

Movie of the Year: The village was good & I haven't seen that many though.

Favorite Professor: I liked Fedler's class a lot last year&maybe because he really liked a paper that I wrote. Tiel's philosophy classes were great too.

Major: Finance

Shampoo/Conditioner: Well, recently, I went to Walmart to get shampoo, and I picked out Head and Shoulders. My mom said, "You can't get that, you don't have dandruff." So I picked out the VO5 shampoo that said "Normal Shampoo" on it. She said I couldn't have that either. This time I wasn't screwing around. So I have V05 79 cent shampoo. Somehow the girls wonder how my hair is so soft.

Do you use a lather builder: Yes, I guess it's called a lufa.

DO you have a Crush Right now: Well, if you refer to last year's bio, you will realize that I don't have crushes very often. That being said, I will neither confirm nor deny if I have a crush right now, at least not on this bio. I will be happy to discuss this with individuals on my new screen name, atowncubsfan1.

Favorite TV Show: Sportscenter, I guess. I stand in staunch opposition to Blind Date, Elimidate, the 5th wheel, Real World, and all the other soft pornography out there.

Favorite State: I'd say Colorado or Hawaii, even though I have not been to either one of those states. I really would like to go to Colorado to see the Rockies, and to Hawaii for the beach. Of course these trips are reserved for my future sweetheart and me.
